On Saturday, December 14th, 2024 Pong On Wheels is running the final tournament of 2024, which promises to be an exciting and different format event!
This exciting event will bring together players of all skill levels, ages and abilities for a fun day of friendly competition and sportsmanship.
The tournament will feature Open Singles and Open Doubles events.
EVENTS & FORMAT
OPEN SINGLES (all ages)
Competition Starts at 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
(Gym opens at 9:00 am)
The tournament will kick off with a Preliminary Round Robin stage, where participants will compete in groups to determine their seeding for the next stage. Based on performance and placement within each round robin group, players will advance to the Single Elimination Brackets in their respective divisions (A, B, C, etc.).
Round Robin: All participants will be placed into preliminary groups, where they will compete against each other in a round-robin format. This stage will help determine rankings and seeding for the elimination rounds.
Single Elimination: Following the round robin, players will advance to their division's single-elimination bracket. Matches will be played in a knockout format until we crown the champions in each division.
OPEN DOUBLES (all ages)*
Starts at 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
Will be run a single or double eliminations bracket, depending on number of entries.
*If you need a partner for the doubles event, we can try to help you find someone.
NOTE: This is a non sanctioned event. However, all USATT regulations, rackets, dress code rules apply - Players will need to bring their own paddles (facility paddles available to borrow), water bottle, and towel. Appropriate athletic attire/footwear should be worn. Everyone gets to play single matches - each game to 11 points, in a fun setting environment. Tournament Director decisions are final. Limited number of entries are available per event.

We can only accommodate up to 40 players on Open Single event; and up to 8 pairs in the doubles event. So register ASAP and save your spot TODAY.
