2023 Ping-Pong Youth Summer Camps were filled with new learnings and lots of fun!

Pong On Wheels hosted youth ping-pong summer camp sessions during the month of June at the Rosemeade Rec Center in Carrollton and at the Michael J. Felix in Sachse for all ages and skill levels.

Players had an opportunity to learn, improve and enhance their table tennis skills, while engaging in a fun, safe and friendly environment.

The camps in Carrollton included a team building and bonding opportunity for those young athletes that were preparing to compete in the 2023 U.S. National Championships in July.

Our beginner participants had an opportunity to explore and learn about the sport of table tennis. However, our intermediate and advanced players were able to polish their skills, including footwork, serve return, attack of the thirds ball, and more!

At all locations players learned new serves and new techniques including different type of spins, basis and advanced strokes, footwork, physical workouts specifics to ping-pong, rules, equipment, serve/reception and many other activities.

All sessions were conducted and taught by our experienced U.S. National Table Tennis Coach, Daniel Rutenberg. He was supported by a great group of volunteer advanced players.

Thank you to all the players and volunteers that participated in these amazing training camps!

We look forward to seeing you next summer!
